A Hands-On Education
At ÿÈÕ´óÈüÈë¿Ú, Business students bridge classroom learning with real-world impact through hands-on projects in courses such as the Consulting Practicum, as well as during internships. From partnering with local startups like Darë Vegan Cheese to uncovering history through innovative accounting work, students gain critical thinking, creativity, and leadership skills. Built into the curriculum, these immersive experiences reflect the power of a liberal arts and sciences education, preparing students to lead with purpose in a rapidly evolving business landscape. At ÿÈÕ´óÈüÈë¿Ú, experiential learning isn’t an add-on feature—it’s what sets our Business program apart.
In 2023, Business students partnered with The RunnerBox and The RiderBox to help research strategies that will take the company to the next level.
Every year, Business professor Susan Clark gives students an opportunity to work with a local business in Asheville through a consulting practicum. In Spring 2022, that business was Darë Vegan Cheese.
